Great quality CTS pots

To replace the wire harness of an old '96 Squier Standard strat.

I big issue (maybe due to my guitar), but the 5 way selector is higher than most standard Squier selectors. This causes it to touch the wood and in my case the copper shielding causing it to short out.

So to remedy this I took a chisel and made that small area 5 mm deeper, this together with some thin insulation material there solved the issue.
I bet I am not the only one who has had this issue.

The sound is great, no issue and pots are very good quality.
Bit expensive I think, but worth it

Te lange potmeters voor een strat.

Als je je fender tone of volume knob erop zet, steken ze flink uit, ( de afstand tussen de knob en de pickguard), nadat je alles gesoldeerd hebt... niet heel erg fijn. Ook vervelend dat van de 3 pots, er eentje erg stroef was. Al met al als je een allparts strat wiring kit koopt, verwacht je niet dat ze niet goed passen op een strat. Na enige research moet je de shorts hebben en dit zijn blijkbaar de long pots.

Great kit for wiring up a ST guitar

Used it to wire up a custom build ST guitar.
The provided wires were long enough to still have some material left to spare.
I went with a tone dual cap wiring, so I ended up using both of the caps, but in reality the wiring would work fine with just one. It would be great if instead of two caps with the same value, there would be two different caps in the kit.
The potis feel really good when turned, and the switch clicks in a very satisfying way.
Overall I really liked the kit, but on the downside:
There is no switch cap, and it would be great if a black and a white switch caps would be included.
Also there are no double nuts on the potis and on the jack, so you cannot adjust the position of those with respect to the surface so you end up with the output jack hanging out from the ferrule a bit too much for my taste

Perfect kit with good quality parts!

The wiring kit was needed to modify my guitar into a Strat. style.
The kit contains perfect and good quality parts.
The wires are high quality, with canvas insulation.
The guitar worked at once after installing.
The attached schematic was a little difficult to read, especially at the pick up 5 way switch.
Taking a colored schematic from the internet was an easy solution for this.
