Just the right facing for medium soft or 2.5 reeds. Nice depth in the lows and clarity in the hights, room for expression. the best vandoren for me so far.

One of my better mouthpieces (for the YAS62)

This is a good mouthpiece that can be used for any genre of music, not just classical. Compared to the Selmer S80, I would say the tone is a little darker and the response, whilst good, is not as amazing as the Selmer. Much depends on the reeds you use but I tend to reserve this for use with my Yamaha YAS62 which tempers it's brighter tone, not so much with my Sig Custom RAW, which is almost 'Tenor in Alto clothing' (it already has a darker tone).

Great upgrade for the Alto Venova (YVS-120)

In comparison with the original mouthpiece, this one enables you to reach the highest and lowest notes super easily even with a softer blow. Depending on the reed used, it will take you places that you could never go with the original MP. The only problem was, that I had to carefully sand the bore on the deep end (which was not that easy without proper tooling) as it is slightly conical and doesn't slide all the way on the Venova tube, even when removing the upper gasket.

Fantastic mouthpiece

I Normally play on a selmer concept but I’ve found it to be quite restricting dynamic wise… decided i needed a change. I blind bought this mouthpiece with high hopes , and I was not disappointed. Response is amazing, its slightly brighter than the concept which i enjoy… I highly recommend this mouthpiece :)
