Tom Crown Trumpet Practice Mute

I love this mute very very much, its sound is really good, and you got not much blow back pressure, so still good blow. It also has a nice look and suits laquered or silver plated trumpets very nice. Also its still compact enough ti fit inside my trumpet case ( hamaha hardcase ) therefor, my most played ( practice ) mute, along with another witch is more silent, bud therefor has an incredible blow back pressure. Really absolutely love and recommend this one. Ow yeah

Bought this mute for my Yamaha YTR 4335 GII after seeing a youtube video on different mutes. It's incredible: you could actually play in the middle of the night with sleeping people in the next room without waking anyone. There's some back pressure that makes it a bit harder for beginners, but I think that will eventually give you some additional power and control. It's not a sound I will fall in love with, so when I can I'll play without it, but as a practice mute it is great.
