Mobile production backpack
The Thomann Producer Backpack is designed to carry a compact mobile recording setup – including a laptop up to 15", an audio interface, and a keyboard controller up to 25 keys – in a single bag with separate storage for every part of the setup. Seven dedicated pockets keep the contents organised: Two padded interior compartments (each 40×24cm) separated by thick padding, two external side pockets for cables, adapters, and power supplies, a front pocket for a compact MIDI controller or similar accessories, and two smaller pockets for travel documents and tickets. The bag can be carried as a backpack, by the carry handle, or on the shoulder strap. As a Thomann own-brand product, it is also backed by a three-year Thomann warranty.

Interior layout and organisation
The Thomann Producer Backpack's interior is organised around two padded main compartments separated by a thick divider, allowing a laptop and audio interface to travel side by side without rubbing against one another. Six of the seven compartments are secured with zip closures to keep equipment safely contained during transport. A dedicated front pocket provides quick access to a compact MIDI controller, while two smaller pockets keep travel documents and everyday accessories within easy reach. The thoughtful compartment layout makes it easy to organise cables, power supplies, and accessories separately from more delicate equipment, reducing clutter and keeping everything easy to locate.

Its compact dimensions make it easy to carry on public transport or between recording sessions. The shoulder strap includes a removable padded shoulder pad for comfort on longer journeys, and the multiple carrying options – backpack straps, handle, or shoulder strap – allow the load to be distributed differently depending on the distance. The nylon construction protects the contents against light impact and everyday handling.
