Good looking versatile Djembe

The skin had to be tightened a bit before use (never did it before, but turned out to be suite easy with a YouTube tutorial). I enjoy the sound, when playing at louder volumes the depth of the base I manage to get out of it positively surprised me.

The carving looks good, making it nice to keep the djembe in view. Unfortunately marks from the roping were visible (the dark top layer was scuffed away at several small locations). I noticed during the tightening I did myself that it was difficult to prevent creating these marks, but they are not too visible, especially as the carvings attract the eye.
