The best drum microphones
These are the best microphones I have come across. They capture the sound of the drums perfectly, without weird corrections. Almost always the raw recording is good enough and doesn't need much EQ work.
Tip: The V-Beat and the V7x have the same capsule - so functionally they are the same microphone! This is useful if you're having trouble placing the V7x on a stand to mic your snare - you can just use a V-Beat on your snare and use the V7x on a tom or on the snare side if needed.
