Schilke Bass Trombone 58

This mouthpiece has an excellent response for me. After a short period of getting used to the mouthpiece, I could easily hit the notes with great confidence in both high and low registers. Maybe other slightly bigger and deeper mouthpieces offer a better sound and more response in the really low register, but they will require more practicing for getting used to the mouthpiece. For me as a part-time bass trombone player however, the Schilke 58 is perfect.
