Basgitaarbouwer Sadowsky staat niet alleen bekend om zijn uitstekende hoogwaardige instrumenten, maar ook om de snaren!
Deze snaren werden mij destijds door mijn muziekleraar aanbevolen en ik kan de heldere klank met een randje zeker beamen!
Helaas zijn de stainless steel snaren de enige verkrijgbare setjes in Europa via Thomann. De nickelwounds en flats heb ik dus nooit kunnen proberen.

Stainless steel is helaas niet mijn huidige smaak. De snaren zijn van een uitstekende kwaliteit, maar ik zou heel graag de andere snaren van Sadowsky proberen.

These are the standard strings which are fitted to every brand new Sadowsky bass. The tone is excellent as is the overall finish. I really like these. I use them on my Sadowsky Metro UV70 4 string bass. I've used other brands, but these are the best.

I have been using these SS strings on Sadowsky bass guitars for a few years. The tension is just perfect (like a standard Fender 7250M...perhaps a slight bit more tension) and the tone really suits the Sadowsky basses, particularly the ash/maple variety. I must admit that I haven't tried them on Fender bass guitars etc., so hard to know how the tone will transfer to other brands/pickups, but these come as stock on Sadowsky basses and you can do no better in my opinion. I tried the nickel coated variety, as I usually play with nickel coated strings in general, but I came back to these. I don't usually review items but I have to say these are really great. Very crisp and last an incredibly long time, more than any other brand strings (I use quite a few brands). I would agree with other reviews that they may sound a little noisey at the beginning. This may be the combination with the Sadowsky pickups (not sure there as one would need to compare on another type bass), but they settle really well. Very good price/performance ratio.
