Rotosound SB12 Super Bronze

I absolutely love Rotosound strings, so was eager to try a set for my acoustic guitar. Although I was enthusiastic on the sound, the overall finish of the strings turned me off. At the end piece of the string, where you clamp it into the body of the guitar, a larger piece of the string is unwound, and just the 'under wire', if that makes sense. In my guitar, this meant part of the strings had no winding around them, which led even the thick lower strings to snap easily. I love Rotosounds, but won't be buying the acoustic strings anymore.
