The QSC CB10 is an active battery-powered full-range loudspeaker with integrated three-channel mixer and Bluetooth connectivity, designed for flexible sound reinforcement without a fixed power supply. Its three inputs consist of two XLR combo sockets and a Bluetooth/AUX interface with separate level control. All functions are accessible from the rear panel or remotely via QSC's Loudspeaker Control app. The CB10 runs equally on mains power or the interchangeable battery – whichever the situation demands. This flexibility is reinforced by the included QSC CB10-CVR weatherproof cover, which protects the speaker during transport and allows use outdoors in light rain without hindering access to the rear panel connections.

Genuinely versatile

The CB10 is built around a 10" woofer and a 1" tweeter, delivering 440W Class D amplification and up to 127dB SPL – sufficient for audiences of around 40-80 people depending on venue size, covering bars, workshops, and outdoor events. Each input has its own gain control, and the two XLR combo inputs offer individually selectable presets for speech, vocals, dance music, or acoustic guitar, allowing the CB10 to function as a self-contained PA without an external mixing desk. Additional performance features include Mic Boost, ducking – automatic reduction of music level when speech is detected – and a footswitch connection for hands-free control during performances.

Focus on mobility

The QSC CB10 is aimed at DJs, solo entertainers, and musicians who value not only sound quality and output, but also maximum mobility. This is exactly where the system stands out: The interchangeable battery offers up to 12 hours of operating time and can be replaced easily – ideal for long events without mains power. With Bluetooth 5.1, the CB10 supports True Wireless Stereo, allowing up to four of the speakers to be linked with almost zero latency. And for clean sound in multicast setups, even over longer distances, the CB10 ecosystem also offers an adjustable delay. Despite the sound quality that QSC is famous for, this compact speaker is impressively portable: With its backpack‑friendly format, moderate weight, and comfortable, ergonomic carry handle, it's easy to manage for a single person. This is a strong argument for anyone who frequently plays in different locations or has to transport their equipment on their own. The flexible setup options – upright, horizontal as a monitor, or mounted on a stand via the pole socket, without removing the cover included here – are another clear advantage.

Practical accessories

The weather-resistant QSC CB10‑CVR included in this bundle not only protects the speaker during transport, but can also help keep the speaker dry if it's being used in poor weather conditions. The front cover can be folded back, while the rear section is removable, ensuring that all connections and controls remain accessible. For transport only, or for keeping the dust off in storage, there's also the CP12 tote bag, which is compatible with the CB10. Anyone planning longer deployments can significantly extend wireless operation with the interchangeable CB‑BATTERY; it is charged directly inside the CB10, though, so it's wise to remember to do this before the event starts.

QSC Loudspeaker Control

The Loudspeaker Control app allows full remote control of the CB10 as well as other Bluetooth‑enabled QSC devices, without users needing access to the control panel of rear of the speakers. Input levels, EQ, room delay, and the various presets can be adjusted conveniently straight from a smartphone. Bluetooth stereo or multicast configurations can also be managed centrally via the app. The user interface is designed as a neat digital replica of the speaker’s control elements, with the physical knobs shown as on‑screen faders. This is particularly practical for managing several speakers at the same time.
