Pyramid Gold Flatwound 040-100

I bought these strings with my Höfner Bass. I'm not originally a bass-player; it was my first bass, and these were my first set of strings.
Because they are smooth flatwounds, these strings are very easy to play for a novice. But above all; in combination with te bass, the give you that real woody Beatles sound, warm but detailed.
I heard they last very long too.
I had them on my bass for about two years now, and they still sound and play fine, so that seems to be right. So far so good.

If you own a Höfner Club or Violin and you want good flatwounds, these are the only strings you'll even need. Period!
