Quality of this jack is very good and unlike switchcraft one has a choice of colors such as gold and / or black. Soldering and use were not a problem.

What an incredible piece of kit this Pure Tone Mono Output Jack is.

My early 2000's Squire bullet strat was showing its age with the output jack constantly buzzing, loosing connection and basically letting my instrument cable fall out.

Soldered this bad boy on and what a difference. You simple cannot compare this Pure Tone Output jack with anything on the market at the moment that I am familiar with.

It holds the instrument cable jack very firmly in place.
You won't easily pull your cable out by accident provided you routing your cable behind your strap etc.

No noise, no buzzing, just a solid connection!

I will be using this on all my guitars in the future regardless of what they come with standard.

My guitar had a contact problem with the standard output jack. I bought the Pure Tone Mono Output Jack Gold; all the issues I had with the standard one have disappeared, it works flawlessly, and looks amazing on the guitar.
