Designed for live engineers, AV technicians, and hybrid production setups, it delivers the same pristine audio quality and workflow as its Series SE III siblings, including the acclaimed Fat Channel signal processing with studio-grade EQ and dynamics on every input and bus. AVB audio networking, direct multitrack recording to SD card or computer, and seamless remote control via PreSonus Studio One and Universal Control are but some of its extended functionalities, making the Presonus StudioLive Series III SE 16 equally at home as a front-of-house console, a professional broadcast hub, and even a hands-on DAW controller in the studio.

High-end processing and bus count

Featuring 26 mix buses in total, the Presonus StudioLive Series III SE 16 provides a wealth of routing options for monitor setups, subgroups, and effects. Every input and bus hosts a Fat Channel strip – high-end EQ, gate, compressor and limiter – powered by the dual-core FLEX DSP engine. The 40-channel mix engine and 16 XMAX-L mic preamps provide ample headroom, while AVB networking adds scalable inputs and outputs via NSB stageboxes and EarMix personal mixers. Performances can be recorded directly to SD card for standalone capture, or via USB to a computer for full DAW integration. Flexible patching, per-channel USB/AVB returns, and scene/project recall allow rapid changeovers between different setups, while the extensive I/O includes stereo aux inputs, ten analogue mix outputs including subgroup outs, and dual headphone jacks, making the console a more than capable hub in any setting.

About Presonus

Presonus is a US company founded in 1995 by Jim Odom and Brian Smith in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The firm designs hardware and software at both professional and more affordable levels for musicians and producers. Presonus first made a splash in the mid-1990s with the DCP8, an eight-channel analogue compressor/limiter/gate with fader and mute automation that could be digitally controlled by MIDI.
