OK It's the best compressor I've ever used on Bass!
Everyone says that! There is a choice of 3 colours. Silver, black, or Blue. I rather liked the blue, and as there are no other pedals on the bass pedalboard in blue, that was my choice.
It is most certainly "Studio Quality". Plenty of controls to fiddle and fine tune with.
I am probably "Going against the grain", but I only use passive basses!
The input control is maxed out permanently!
Clean, crisp, powerful and noiseless. Just the true sound, but louder, more powerful, cleaner, satisfying!
If you're not worrying about the cost, this is the obvious best choice.

Just the best compressor I have ever used
This compressor is as good as any studio based one but in a pedal.
The downloaded manual suggestions for settings really work and I particularly like the "parallel compression" setting. I use an Alembic 5 string bass and it sounds just great with the compressor first in the signal chain as suggested.
