About Mooer

Mooer is based in the Chinese city of Shenzhen and has been making products for guitarists since 2010, which include compact single pedals through to multi-effects units and compact amplifiers. ongekend veel mogelijkheden voor deze prijs. Veel presets zijn een beetje gesjeesd maar met zorgvuldig tweaken kun je met dit ding hele goeie sounds maken. Ook de looper en zelfs de ritmebox die er in zit is de moeite waard.

Con: Bij mij maakte het ding een heel naar electronisch geluid wat ik (gelukkig) weg kreeg door de display LEDs een stuk terug te dimmen.

Ik heb een simpele gitaarcombo voor een akoestisch gitaar, maar met de Mooer GE100 ertussen kan ik 'm ook perfect gebruiken met mijn elektrische gitaar. Ik kan nu veel versterkers/combo's en effecten eenvoudig modeleren. Ook de ritme-box klinkt erg goed en de Mooer GE100 is bovendien eenvoudig te bedienen en heeft een heldere display. De tuner is okay, maar niet super nauwkeurig.
Al met al, zeer tevreden!

Zeer uitgebreid.
De presets moet je maar zien als voorbeelden van wat er mee kan, je kan ze zelf overschrijven met eigen patches. Loop werkt prima, Tuner is wat grof maar werkt wel. De effecten klinken mooi en zijn goed instelbaar. De koptelefoon uitgang is wat zacht met mijn 250 ohm maar het is ook eigenlijk de uitgang naar je amp dus impedantie dingetje. Prima ding, zeker voor dit geld!

I have had this pedal for a few weeks and am really impressed. As with all multi effect pedals and amps there are some pre-sets I like and some that for me are useless and this is no exception but it has more useable tones than most. I particularly like the drum effect and the looper function, 180 seconds is long enough to make a really useable loop. It is complicated to use at first but then it would be as it is jammed with possibilities and sounds but the manual is comprehensive and clearly written. Personally I think it is worth the money just for the looper alone! Although it is mostly plastic it feels sturdy and I feel it will last a long time. The screen is big enough to see well and has a lot of information with good clarity. The only thing I would like to see is an on/off switch when using it with a power supply, it is a pain to have to disconnect it when finished with. Very high marks!
