Space-saving workstation

The Millenium SD-120 StudioDesk is a compact workstation, specifically designed to meet the demands of both recording and music production. The workstation offers a 120cm wide working surface, a raised shelf for a monitor and a pair of studio speakers, and a pull-out tray for a small master keyboard. Two internal 19" racks, each with five rack units, allow the installation of additional audio interfaces, preamps, and other hardware. Space-efficient design

The Millenium SD-120 StudioDesk's raised shelf is 120cm wide, like the working surface, thus providing ample space for a single monitor and two compact nearfield monitor speakers commonly used in home and project studios. The two 19" racks, each with five rack units, are located centrally under the shelf, so that built-in hardware can be easily accessed from the workstation at any time. The pull-out keyboard shelf, measuring 1005 x 400mm, can accommodate a small master keyboard or other controllers. A very handy feature are the headphone holders attached to both sides of the desk. A slightly more spacious alternative to the SD-120 is the Millenium SD-180 StudioDesk, with a 180cm wide working surface.

Good but not perfect

Works good, stable, easy to dismount and mount again. Only problem is no flexibility with where the display goes. You should definitely have a display that bends if you aren't tall enough or a display on the wall as opposed to on the top platform. You'll find yourself looking up the whole time which hurts your neck. Otherwise it is perfect for the price.

Stabiele studiodesk

Ik ben erg blij met deze desk, maar moet er wel bij zeggen dat ik deze heb aangepast naar mijn smaak. De studiodesk ziet er in het echt ook mooier uit dan op de foto's. Alle afgeronde hoeken en de ergomisch afschuining van het werkblad krijg je op de foto's niet echt mee. Voordelen:
- Stevig en gunstig geprijsd
- brede keyboard la
- prettig formaat op de hoogte van de rackunits na (zie nadelen)
- kabelgoot en gatenplaat om je kabels aan vast te maken (Tip: bestel Tesa Cable Manager mee)

Nadelen:
- rackunits van 5U zijn te hoog om een beeldscherm op te zetten
- rack montage profielen zijn niet helemaal zuiver gelijk verdeeld wat de gaten betreft. Maar het is werkbaar.

Ik heb mijn Studiodesk aangepast en verbouwd naar 3U zodat er een beeldscherm bovenop kan zonder mijn nek te verrekken. Dit is goed te doen, als je een ervaren doe het zelver bent met kunde in metaal en houtbewerken. Ben je dat niet, blijf er dan vanaf en dan kan je het beste hier twee losse 3u racks erbij kopen die je dan boven op deze studio desk zet i.p.v. de meegeleverde rack delen te monteren.

To make better use of my home studio space, I downsized my studio desk from the SD 180 to the SD 120.
Again it was super easy to construct by myself and it looks amazing.
To quality for a great price!

Ik heb het studiomeubel sinds maart in gebruik. Ben er zeer tevreden over. Mooie afwerking maar ook handig. De lade voor een eventueel MIDI-keyboard is groot genoeg voor een 61 toetsen keyboard. Van de mogelijkheid om 19" apparatuur te bevestigen maak ik geen gebruik maar kan wel. Voldoende ruimte bovenop voor speakers en monitor. Erg tevreden dus en kan ik aanraden.
