Optima Classical Gold

The silk? core of the wound strings cannot handle life as a guitar string. I am getting from zero minutes to a few minutes of use out of them before I find then hanging loose from the guitar the following morning. This has happened with one or two strings from each of the last six sets of these strings that I have tried. I like the sound of these strings when yhey are working, but very dodgy quality for a very high price. I will try a different brand. Still waiting from some positive action from Optima about this issue.
