The initial sound was wonderfull when the strings were fresh. Very clear and warm with smooth highs. Strings are a bit less flexible compared to Maxiflex (which I therefor prefer).
But the gold wears off where you bend often and where you hit the strings with the pick. Sound became a bit muddy a bit too soon.
So all by all these are great for recording or an occasional gig. But used every day it will get too expensive for me. Would do it if money didn't matter. But hey, then I would have a golden toilet as well ;-)
