A Marshall Guv'nor in a different package.

The Guv'nor was the first AIAB pedal. This is the same (more than 30 years later) and it is still a good buy now.
I like the sound and the passive 3-band EQ.
I use it both low gain and high gain. Low gain for surf and psychobilly and high gain for metal.

Alright couple of things first, honestly i was able to get pretty close as tone with Proco Rat and a Haunting Mids. I assume if you have eq and any other distortion pedal you should be able to sound pretty close to it. However if you are like me and you must have it you won't regret it. It is very versatile it can do work with low and high gain. Although if you are going to use as high gain pedal i would recommend pairing with another eq.
Overall wide range of tone capabilities, durable build and having part of music history on my board makes me really happy.
On the other hand, if you are a modern player it is not a modern OD/Dist tone, it mimics JCM 800ish 90s drives.

Bonjour,

Si vous cherchez une distortion / overdrive proche des années 80's / 90's, elle est faite pour vous. Simple et efficace.
On peut moduler les fréquences en plus du gain et du volume.
Le prix est plus que correct.
