Great for cleaning connectors, also for pots and switches with some caveats

This is a fine product for cleaning dirty contacts and connectors. I use it regularly on potentiometers, switches and connectors. The residue doesn't seem to harm plastics, metals, or, at least for short periods, woods (I also use this spray for the pots in my guitar). I have no reservations about its use as long as you remember to clean up any excess afterwards.

You know those annoying scratchy pots? This'll fix em.

I have, however, not had an opportunity to use these on heavily corroded contacts (beyond mild oxidation of nickel-plated connectors), and I suspect it may not be up to the task. Given the choice I prefer the Servisol Super 10 (which also incorporated a mechanical lubricant) as it requires less shots from the can to get the equivalent cleaning.

This is nonetheless fine for the intended purpose; you won't regret getting a can.

This contacts spray is a lifesaver.

The can comes packaged in a sealed thick plastic bag, very smart in case the can happened to leak in transit.

The can comes with an attachment to get into small tight areas like pots/switches/faders which is very handy.

The product works extremely well, I have a bass which has had a scratchy volume pot for over 10 years which was getting consistently worse, rather than change the pot I decided I would try and clean it first, after 3 or 4 squirts of kontakt and some turning of the pot it is now like new.

I will be purchasing more of this product soon so I always have some on standby.

Great product, really works!

I had an old Marshall amp with pots that made a very crackling sound. I bought this product to try to save them, but I didn't have much hope, since the pots where in very bad shape.
As always with Thomann, I recieved the product very quickly. I found that it was very easy to use. The long plastic tube can be inserted in the little hole in the pot, so all the product is applied in the right place without making a mess.
The spray did a wonderfull job, all the pots where saved and the amp is in great condition again.
