All K&M stands are top quality, reliable and sturdy. The cork on these Guitar stands is perfect and will never mark your Guitar. i have several of these and hope to need many more....

Sturdy and elegant

Very nice quality, with 2 adjustable steps for base width to ensure optimal setup for different guitars. The back rest has a simple and elegant air pocket to cushion the back of the guitar. I thought the material was real cork but it's a rubber/cork composite, it looks nice and provides very good grip, not sure if I would rest shellac/french polished guitars on this, but for regular poly finishes it's safe.
EDIT: Cats seem to love the fake cork parts, mine has completly destroyed it. I started using a different type of stands, the ones that grab the guitar by the neck and lock with it's weight, I much prefer those now

This is a fine guitar stand. But I don't think that material is actual cork. It's just a sort of plastic that looks like cork.
