Awesome to play, questionable quality control...
I love this guitar, but the Floyd Rose Special sucks — it can’t hold tuning properly and feels like it’s made of weak material. The wood cutting around the input jack wasn’t cleaned/finished well; there’s even a wood strip hanging inside from when the hole was carved. The input jack itself isn’t great either — it keeps unscrewing, so I’ll probably have to replace it with a Stratocaster-style one.
Other than that, I don’t have much to complain about. I’ve had it for 2 months now, and I love playing it even more than my 90s Jackson Kelly. Still, for this price, it deserved more attention in build quality, finishing, and QC, because this is not a €200/$200 guitar. It’s made in Indonesia, but I really wish it had more of that “Made in USA/Japan” feel like many other Jacksons.
On the bright side, it’s lightweight, very comfortable whether standing or sitting, and ergonomically shaped so it rests nicely on your right leg — though using a strap always helps with proper positioning.

Unfortunately disappointment
TLDR - I don't recommend it, poor quality, very overpriced in my opinion.
Let's start from the top - the headstock. The tuners are okay, they are not bad, not good, just average tuners. The nut is installed unevenly, it is shifted a bit towards the 1st string. It doesn't make the guitar unplayable but it definitely should not be like that, it's a serious issue. The fretboard is okayish but I've noticed something like a little hole in it which looks like a little knot. Some of frets have coating like they are covered with some sort of dirt. Also there's fretbuzz all over the fretboard. Neckdive - sure. The volume/tone knobs are okay but the toggle switch is dangling. The bridge was installed also unevenly for some reason but it wasn't that hard to fix it. On parer this guitar should look gorgeous and brutal but in reality it looks like it's made of plastic, like a toy and that looks cheap. Maybe it's just mine impression.
The pickups are okay, I've never played on EMG pickups before but it doesn't feel exceptional, it's just pickups. If I compare it to my other guitar which has passive Duncan Designed pickups - EMG's sound feels tighter, more compressed but DD's sound feels a bit brighter when playing. Surprisingly when recorded both pickups sound identical.
I not very happy with the neck profile - I always considered Jackson as guitar manufacturer for metal guitars and therefore they should have a very thin neck. But in this case it's not very thin, it's playable but honestly I expected more. I have another guitar which is also kind of "metal guitar" and if I take it after playing on Jackson, I immediately feel the difference how easier it is to play. But once again, it's not terrible. The other thing which I'm disappointed with is the higher frets accessibility. The neckjoint is pretty thick so the higher frets on 1-3 strings are pretty reachable but it forces you to curve your wrist in a very unnatural way to reach 22-24 frets on the strings 4-6. Sweep picking wasn't comfortable at all on this position for me.
The only positive thing which I can say about this guitar is that it is super light. Unfortunately that's all I can say.
So the verdict is that I don't recommend this guitar. This is how I imagined js series to be. In my opinion the honest price for this guitar is 400€ at best. I have 2 guitars which cost less then this Jackson but both of them have much better quality.
Not sure if I buy any of the Jackson products in the future.

One of the best guitar I ever played
Top quality. Looks like a weapon. Can’t go wrong with EMG’s (if u are in metal)

hella of yapping down there, in a few simple words the guitar's amazing overall
Probably one of the best choices if youre into V-shaped guitars! It is versatile, comfy and very nice
Note: it has active pickups meaning youll have to change the battery overtime, theyre still amazing though
it is comfy aswell(ofcourse it depends on whether youve played in that position and is comfortable playing like that) and hella light, has 24 frets which is AMAZING(also the 24th fret is easily accesible, idk what the guy below was talking about), the floyd is the thing im kinda not sure about because im uneducated on them and thats my first experience with a floyd rose so ill shut my mouth there, i apologize for taking your time if you didnt find this review interesting/educating enough

Great value EMG loaded guitar
Killer specs for the price. Also amazing packaging by both Thomann and Jackson.
