I have found my Thunderbird a joy to play. The design of the tapering cover plates is a great design. It follows the way your mouth has to be for playing low to high notes. I got this to replace a regular Marine Band in F. I didn't like how the higher register of the regular F sounds, it's a little too bright for my tastes and Thunderbird Low F solves that issue. This is really beefy and thick sounding on the low end and the highs are not offensive. Easy to blow and bend. This is a top of the line harp and it has convinced me to eventually collect the rest of the Thunderbird line.
