The sound is amazing, however it is not a set and forget device and it is not a Swiss knife, on some mixes does magic and on others doesn’t work (at least in my opinion). It requires active thinking and listening to find the sweet spot each time.
There are two cons I can think of after a little more than a year of use:
1. The unit is missing a make up gain stage. I love the unit but I really miss having this option.
2. The unit runs hot, like really hot. So much that I had to place it in an external 4 slot chassis with a cpu fan on its vents running at top speed to keep it cool enough. Otherwise I feel it would self cook.
All things considered, this is a keeper for me.
