Beter dan de oude versie

Beter geconstrueerd dan de versie die ik 12 jaar geleden kocht. Ik gebruik niets anders meer sinds ik ooit met een goedkoop statief de nek van een gitaar gebroken heb.

Great stand with lots of flexibility, fits almost any guitar

I was looking for a stand for my new guitar and after some research settled on this Hercules stand. It folds for transport (don't expect it to fit in your pocket but it does get a bit more manageable) and adjusts to the length of your guitar or your preferred height. Whatever height you choose, it's very stable and the neck lock holds the guitar securely without damaging it. It's a clever mechanism which locks and unlocks effortlessly, it's a one handed operation. The padding on the legs also makes sure your guitar is well protected. If you're looking for a proper stand, this is the one you're looking for.

Superstabiel, snel te monteren en mijn gitaren als zessnarige bassen passen er zonder problemen in. Het enige wat ik minder vind is het gele onderdeel, dat had ook zwart mogen zijn wat mij betreft.

Not for banjo!

The stand is great, very stable and sturdy. However, it is advertised to be suitable for banjo, mandolin and other instruments with a narrow neck, thanks to the rubber rings. This doesn't work in any way for a (normal) banjo with planetary tuners! It isn't suitable for mandolin, because the stand is too tall, and even an acoustic tenor guitar is too narrow for the AGS top. Also, the stand is adjustable in height, but is way too tall for anything slightly smaller than a standard guitar. Probably more suitable for bass guitars.
