Harley Benton's ST-Shorty BK Standard series offers kids a solid entry-level electric guitar that, despite its extremely attractive price, doesn't skimp on any features. Like its full-sized siblings, the ST-Junior features solid woods and three single coil pickups. The slim bolt-on maple neck with a shortened scale length of 492mm offers excellent playability for smaller hands, and with a total length of just 81cm, this guitar is also an attractive travel guitar for adult players. The hardware comprises a set of reliable diecast machine heads and, at the opposite end, a fixed bridge where the strings are routed through the body. This allows a better transfer of the string vibration to the body as well as providing a comfortable resting surface for the player's right hand.

As versatile as its bigger siblings

As its name suggests, the Harley Benton ST-Junior guitar features the classic ST-style shape, which has made an indelible mark on the history of Rock music. Consisting of a poplar body and maple neck, this shorter-scale guitar enables beginners to recreate iconic Rock sounds thanks to its three single coil pickups, which depending on the amp used can produce everything from crystalline clean tones to juicy overdrive sounds. A five-way pickup switch as well as volume and tone controls offer even more scope to shape the desired sound. It should be noted, however, that due to the size of the guitar, it is tuned to A-D-G-C-E-A, a fourth higher than a guitar with a regular scale length.

Moeilijk, niet te doen

Deze gitaar ziet er op het oog prima uit. Een mooi product!
Maar ik krijg hem met geen mogelijkheid gestemd. Intonatie ook niet te doen dus.
Nut en spaargeleiders vervangen door Tusq spul, stemmechanieken vervangen door locking tuners van goede kwaliteit. snaren uiteraard vervangen. Alles nog eens vast gezet.....en nog is dit gitaartje alleen mooi voor aan de muur. Was bedoelt voor onze dochter maar er is niet op te spelen.

Voor het geld echt een leuk ding

Aangeschaft als kadootje.

Had niet verwacht een fatsoenlijk werkend instrument te krijgen maar was aangenaam verrast. Het gitaartje heeft voor de prijs een absoluut goed geluid. 3 elementen en schakelen als een echte strat.

Er zijn wat kleine minpuntjes
De tuners zijn niet de stabielste
De afwerking van de kam en de pickguard zijn wat minder.

Ondanks de minpuntjes is dit voor het geld echt een leuk ding. Als reisgitaar of als kado voor een aanstormend gitaristje.

onze gitarist van de band vind dit een zeer mooi gebouwd gitaartje en het geluid is zeer acceptabel

Goed uitzicht met voldoende oog voor afwerking.
De klank is niet volledig toonzuiver, maar kan ermee door. Zeker als reisgitaar.
