Prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding!
Ik wilde thuis wat country tunes pingelen, deze Banjolele leent zich daar uitstekend voor. Voor dit bedrag kun je niet veel verwachten, maar toch is het een verbluffend mooi instrument. De klank is goed en behoorlijk hard door de resonator (die kun je er eventueel ook afhalen!). Ik heb de nylon snaren vervangen door normale metalen banjo snaren, dat klinkt nog wat harder en metaliger, de sound die ik zoek. Complimenten!

Nice build quality and setup
Pretty impressed by this for the money. Action real nice, no sharp frets. I like the fat neck. Nice brass and wood colours.
Soundwise I think it’s pretty dull actually, I was expecting a lot more brightness. Maybe it’s the nylon strings. Removing the back cover helps a little bit.
I find setting intonation at the bridge is really difficult on this shortscale instrument. Using a headstock tuner isn’t really convenient. It also took a while for the strings to settle and they keep ‘pinging’ , which I think comes from the bridge slots, while it’s usually something for the nut.
Then there are these weird overtones which I mostly got rid of by placing a rolledup sock between the iron beam and remo head. I tried a (much more expensive) Gold Tone BU-1 in another store and it had these intonation and overtone ‘issues’ also. After playing that one for a while, I really enjoy that the BJu-15Pro comes with an arm rest!
One thing I regret is not buying the combination-deal with the included gigbag. But all in all, after some tinkering I decided to keep it and am happy with it!

Nice solide Resonator Ukulele
Tuned it in open G, 'cause I'm not much of an ukulele player. And changed the nylon strings for steel ones. Play and you will be heard.

Geweldige banjolele voor zeer schappelijke prijs
De banjolele van Harley Benton is een geweldig instrument, hij klinkt goed, ziet er heel mooi uit, design is echt mooi, en de prijs is zeer zeer schappelijk voor wat je krijgt, een mooie banjo met tas er bij. Bezorging is ook top! Zeer snel ook. Ben zeer tevreden. Bedankt Thomann!

de A snaar klonk niet helemaal door, nieuwe snaren erop gezet en het probleem bleef. Bleek dat de hals iets scheef ingelijmd was. Heb het het kunnen compenseren door een shim onder de brug te zetten

leuke Banjo Ukelele
Mooi instrument. Ziet er goed uit. Hangt bij mij aan de muur als versiering in de kamer en kan er ook nog op spelen. Mooi om naar te kijken en lekker om op te spelen
