A bad craftsmaship by Gibson
I received my first one, and returned it immediately, as someone in Gibson workshop butchered the fret board binding by a knife.
I received my replacement yesterday. The frets are not sanded enough and scratch - which is teh main reason i am returning it again. Also, the bridge pickup is crooked and stack in the frame and need re-installation. The funniest thing is that because of the crooked pickup which reaches higher, they lifted the bridge, so the strings don't touch it. I am not kidding, this is how they sorted it. All that for 1700 EUR.
Well, i was waiting for my second replacement, but Thomann send me an email that they can't help me with better quality and refunded my money.
I seriously wonder if Gibson sells their defective guitars in European e-shops. I doubt they would survive in the US with this kind of quality issues.

Came out in the morning with a guitar, clean air, light breeze ...
put a tube amplifier next to it, pressed the BOSS OD-3 pedal, played G, D, C

Gibson, manufacturers of fine instruments once more.
I'm sure Gibson would be the first to admit that they have had problems in the past. But they are back on form making probably the best guitars in the world. This SG (a les Paul in reality being a 61, with the wrong trem system) is a great example. I own both vintage and custom shop Gibsons and this holds its own. Flawless workmanship and an absolute please to play. The trem is, of course, basically useless, only suitable for very light use, but it makes the guitar cosmetically stunning, and eliminates the age old SG neck dive problem.

Dream come true
Always wanted this guitar after seeing George Harrison with one many years ago. Didn't disappoint, still settling in, but beautiful tone, gorgeous action, and a stunner of a guitar.

Excellent playing guitar
Aside from a little tarnishing on the pickups everything else was perfect on receiving this SG. Set up perfectly from the start this balances pretty well without any neck dive and stays in tune with light use of the Meastro Tremelo. Didn't try with anything too wild as that's not my thing. Soundwise the pickups are nice and clear with no harshness. So far looking like this could become a very useful little workhorse. Well worth the money.

Good quality and great sound!!!
High level performance! This is the cheapest guitar in my arsenal, but it's great! The only thing I did was change the bridge to TONEPROS AVR/2N (lock)

Not the best
I was expecting a more vintage sound from this guitar. Only by replacing the pickups I was able to achieve what I wanted. The build quality is not the best. My Korean Guild seems like a premium guitar when compared. The pickup holes are not made correctly, causing the pickups to be at an angle. There are videos on YouTube on how to fix it, but considering the price, it's just ridiculous.
