When only the best is good enough

The Gibson OEM part is better than any I have bought from the Far East. It also comes with screws which the others often don't.

I bought this for a 2015 SG just to see what it would look like with the cream surrounds as opposed to the black originals. Being an OEM part the colour matches the neck binding perfectly and an okey-cokey part would stand out like a sore thumb.

As these are not ridiculously over-priced I think they are a better buy than a Chinese copy.

It surrounds the pickup

This humbucker frame is sitting happily around my pickup. My guitar is a Westbury. It has double horns like an SG but the top horn is further forward, a pair of creme-ish (actually ranging between tan and dark brown; they're so disgustingly dirty after 22 years of play that they are likely to need exorcised rather than cleaned) Dimarzio Humbuckers and has been stripped down to it's natural wood and finished with some kind of protective matt finish.
The Gibson Humbucker Frames' colour goes very well with the natural wood and the pickups. The Frame is solid enough and I have no complaints about the quality.

A product and a brand that needs no introduction.
I bought this product, and Gibson PRPR-015 too, because I've changed my pick up, from p90s to humbuckers on my Les Paul Tribute 60's. Those frames fit with every type of humbucker without change anything on your guitar or on your pick up.
Really good quality of the plastics, whit the frame you have the original screws. Absolutely the best from Gibson

Absolutely great quality replacement for a Gibson guitar. Definitely better than cheaper brands replacement alternatives. The plastic is rigid and feels solid and reliable. I found other brands do not other the same quality of build or materials.

Would recommend.

Good replacement

Very good replacement ring for a Gibson Les Paul Standard.
The color is really nice and does fit to most common standard pickguards on Gibson Les Pauls. There are four screws comming with the ring which can be used to mount the ring.

What can you say about these things?
They "do what it says on the tin" (to coin a phrase).
My old Les Paul has had a bit of a facelift recently and these are the finishing touch. They fit - no prob'.
What more can I say?

Bought it for the wrong guitar

The product itself is good, but it did not fit my old Epiphone guitar - the guitar body had a much smaller radius.

This review is basically for the benefit of other Epiphone users: don't assume that Gibson parts will fit your Epiphones, make sure you measure twice and buy once!
