Ernie Ball Everlast picks have served me well for years. Out of all picks I've tried, these feel just "right" in my hand, are durable, robust and look beautiful!
The 1mm thickness is exceptionally well for heavy genres that require more precise pick control. It's flexible in the terms of usage: Not too thin and not too thick, giving the player a good middle ground between comfort and precision.
Don't get me wrong, picks cost mere cents, but my previous Everlast pick lasted me for over 6 months of extensive (2+ hours daily!!!) use. The pick never broke and is just moderately worn down on the tip, that's about it. Considering I predominantly only downpick, that is something to be proud of, Ernie Ball! Even the sticker on the front never came off! :D
I have nothing bad to say about Ernie Ball products. It's a blessing to have a business with them, recommend!!!
Considering the "appearance issue": The picks came in a well-sealed package, but they appear to be A LOT lighter than expected (think of a pale grayish-purple color). As if someone blew dust on them. But fear not, the fix is super easy: Just wash them in your water sink and from now on they will look as good as expected!
