About Ernie Ball

The Ernie Ball company was named after its founder and has its headquarters in San Luis Opisbo, California. Being a guitarist himself, Ernie Ball knew their needs very well. Fijne snaren prachtige klank

Ik kocht deze snaren op aanraden van een aantal andere gitaristen, dus ik besloot hun advies op te volgend en kocht me een setje.

Eenmaal uit de (erg goede) verpakking zien de snaren eruit als alle anderen, maar opgespannen op mijn gitaar werkelijk een wereld van verschil. Voorheen speelde ik op mijn Crafter met D'addario snaren en geloofde ik niet dat een ander merk of ander soort snaren verschil kon maken in geluid. Boy was I wrong... De Earthwood snaren maakte mijn gitaar klank heel warm en helder, het klinkt alsof ik een veel duurdere gitaar bespeel. Ik ben erg onder de indruk.

Ook de feel van de snaren is heel fijn, ze spelen heel makkelijk met name de g/b/e snaren zijn heel soepel en snel. Ik dacht dat door de naam Earthwood BRONZE dat de 4 lage snaren wounded waren maar dat is dus niet zo, de G/snaar is een nickle-wound.

Ze zitten nu een aantal weken op mijn gitaar en zelfs na een aantal optredens voelen/spelen/klinken nog steeds als nieuw! Ik blijf deze snaren zeker gebruiken!

Ik gebruik te snaren op m'n Takamine gitaar. Het geluid en de speelbaarheid van deze snaren is perfect. Voornamelijk speel ik elektrisch gitaar dus een akoestische gitaar kan dan nog wel een stug aan voelen, niet met deze snaren!
Helder geluid, goed volume, wat wil je nog meer? Ohja een goede prijs!

Warm en helder geluid

Ik heb deze snaren op een oud akoestisch jazz gitaartje gezet. Ik zocht een wat dunnere set om de constructie niet te veel te belasten.
Normaal zou ik er nylon op gezet hebben, maar dat niet het geluid wat ik zocht.
Nu wel het geluid van staal maar niet de belasting. Happy mee.
