Love them
Really like them. Sound like 009's. Now that I'm an old fart (not quite at death's door yet, but getting there), it get's harder and harder to play those 80's hair metal riffs. So every little thing helps... and 008 strings that sound like more help a lot. Of course I went stainless steel frets all the way years ago. It's the (hard-)Rock, Paper, Scissors deal: Stainless Steel beats Cobalt, but Cobalt will beat the hell out of your nickel frets. ...Or so I've been told.
