The EMG SPC is..... AWESOME!!!!!!!!
I don't write a whole lot of review, tbh.
Usually, all has been said many times before and sufficiant.
But here I feel the need to tell others what an amazing device this is.
It's basically like having a tubescreamer build in your guitar.
I use it to make my Stratty neck pickup match with my 81 in the bridge.
Without the SPC rolled open, it is a nice standard Strat neck pickup.
Open the SPC and voila: as gainy as a EMG 60 or 85.
But still with that soulful Stratty character.
Im gonna install one in my other Strat too.
What an amazing product.
Its like having a super button with extra gain, right under your fingers.

Strat on steroids!
Nou, dit is een fijne toevoeging aan m’n strat! Ik had er al EMG’s in zitten dus installatie was een fluitje van een cent. Het ding doet wat hij belooft. Je hebt een regelbare boost onder handbereik en dat werkt veel flexibeler dan moeten bukken om een pedaaltje bij te stellen, zowel thuis als bij een optreden. Je kunt de overdrive heel precies inregelen en aanpassen aan muziekstijl en speelstijl. Aanrader dus.

Boosting the strat!
Had hem gekocht voor een eigenbouw strat met Fender vintage noissless pickups en dan kun je van dunner en zacht authentiek tot vol en hard modern.
Maakt je gitaar zeer veelzijdig dus, bv van een cleane slagpartij naar een dikke solosound. Batterij verbruik valt mee maar je moet er wel een plekje voor zien te vinden...
Niet alleen voor strats natuurlijk maar wel het best geschikt voor humbucking humbuckers of single coils met lage output.
