Elixir Nanoweb 12057 Light 7 String

The Elixir Nanoweb 7 string set is an excellent set of strings for those that want their strings to last for a long time. They keep their tone well, and feel great to the touch.

Pro:
- Nanoweb coating gives slick feel to the strings, no string lubrication required
- Tone lasts for at least 3 weeks before diminishing slowly
- A set can last for at least 2 months
- Hardly ever breaks

Con:
- The unwound strings can sometimes blacken
- Not as bright as other strings

Now the main reason why I play these strings is because my hand sweat is very acidic, and these strings do not rust because of it. The tone may not be as bright when fresh as other brands, but it will last much longer than any uncoated strings. If you tour a lot, or just don't like chaning strings too often than these are the strings for you.
