PDP stands for “Pacific Drums and Percussion” and is a brand founded by renowned manufacturer DW, which sells drums and hardware at affordable prices. With the 700 series, PDP offers hardware that is particularly lightweight for a compact and portable design, with all products boasting design elements and technical features that can also be found in DW’s professional hardware series. The 700 series also includes cymbal stands, hi-hat stands, snare drum stands, single and double bass drum pedals, and even fully equipped hardware sets, thus providing all the essential drum hardware components.

The DW PDP 700 Snare Drum Stand is an extremely lightweight snare drum stand, which offers extensive versatility. Thanks to its robust double-braced legs and anti-slip rubber feet, this model ensures that a secure and stable position is maintained despite the reduced overall weight, even when playing heavier styles of music. The snare basket is adapted to the drum diameter with the aid of a corkscrew-shaped wheel, which is easily adjustable on account of its design, and accommodates all standard diameters. The snare drum stand is also fitted with a standard sprocket for altering the drum angle.

All products from the PDP 700 series have been designed by the renowned manufacturer DW (Drum Workshop) in California. In terms of design and technical features, they reflect the professional hardware series available from DW, but carry a budget-friendly price tag, which primarily aims them at ambitious new drummers, music schools, and music teachers. However, the high-quality workmanship involved in creating these products also makes them an excellent choice for advanced drummers, particularly where lightweight hardware is preferred for ease of transport to smaller local venues.

About PDP

PDP is the acronym for "Pacific Drums and Percussion" and is the name of a California-based drum and hardware manufacturer. The company was founded in 1999 by DW Drums to offer affordable instruments in addition to its own exclusive - and correspondingly expensive - brand, DW drums. To reduce costs, the production of the drum shells was outsourced first to Mexico and later to China. PDP has always used many original parts from the DW series. The Concept Series, with shells made of 100% maple, is currently the flagship in the portfolio. The Black Wax snare drums, available in six different sizes, are also part of the product range.

Stevig voor de prijs.

Aangenaam verrast door de stevigheid en stabiliteit voor dit bedrag.
Hij gaat veel mee naar liveshows, makkelijk op te zetten en op te bergen en tot op heden nog niks verbogen of stuk.
Ik gebruik hem als tom statief maar zal het voor de snare ook goed doen.
Verstellen met grote kunststof knop gaat soepel.

Good quality stand

good quality snare stand and definitely a good alternative to the DW series. Lighter than DW, but therefore useful if weight is an thing for you. Stable stand and well done construct. Would buy it again!

Excellent quality and value bought it to use with Roland electric snare drum, works well, can wobble a little if hit in the wrong place, superb service from thomann as always

Oh what a great deal for a great brand name,the overall material is the best you can get for your money! It handle very well my Tama snare drum .
