I spent a while researching which cajon pedal to get. I perform functions and also work as a musical storyteller in schools and at festivals. I wanted something that was easy to assemble, totally reliable and looked cool (superficial, I know, but when doing school events this matters.)
I use the cajon to accompany spoken word and now I'm hands free I can play folk instruments too.
This pedal has an exceptionally high build quality, takes a minute or less to set up and is fantastically responsive. The sound on my Remo cajon is excellent.
I've used it for 5 or 6 gigs so far and it really adds. I am keeping this pedal.
