Those who appreciate order in their effects collection and value a smooth performance in the rehearsal room or on stage can hardly avoid the purchase of a pedalboard. The D'Addario XPND 1 provides the required order and overview thanks to its patented telescopic technology. The usable surface of the board can be extended to almost twice the length, and can thus be individually adapted to the type and number of effects used. Despite the low weight of 1.49kg, the aluminium construction is enormously robust. Additionally, it has a cleverly designed cable management system that prevents cable clutter on the one hand and enables quick and easy replacement of effects on the other.

Expandable and ready to go

Thanks to the extension with the pull-out second level, the D'Addario XPND 1 offers enough possibilities in this regard and thus brings the most different types of effects and their sometimes extremely different sizes clearly under one roof. To ensure that all your favourite effects can be placed safely on the board, the pedalboard includes a set with enough hook and loop fasteners for the pedals and for the fully extended length of both rails, as well as four cable management clips. The additional hook and loop fasteners offer further opportunities to avoid any cable tangles in the best possible way.

The D'Addario XPND 1 pedalboard offers all users of various types of effect pedals a good opportunity to store the pedals used in a sensible, safe, and practical way. Thanks to the cable management system, the required cables almost disappear within the robust aluminium construction and can nevertheless be reached quickly when you want to switch out specific pedals. This makes it easy to prepare for the upcoming gig or to quickly try out a new effect during rehearsals with your band. The special feature of the D'Addario XPND 1, however, is and remains the option of extending it with the additional slide-out segment. What a cool idea to have an expanding board, for anyone that slowly grows their collection because they happen to buy (unfortunately) higher priced pedals. Also, the cable management inserts are very much appreciated. It's a little pricey, but this thing has so much machining work (you can really feel it when you assemble it) and the tolerances to make it move are spot on!! I love this thing.
