Do you remember Samuel L Jackson doing "Black Snake Moan" (movie: Black Snake Moan 2007) to the background of heavy thunder and lightning.
Rolling Thunder and lightning with the unsteady beat of heavy rain against my window, that's when I feel inspired the most. It's the perfect atmosphere for some down and dirty blues.
Brennenstuhl understands that, which is why they made this amazing product. Well built and absolutely noiseless.

For about 40 euros you get protection for your expensive amps and gear, against voltage fluctuations and most importantly current spikes due to conditions such as lightnings. It can handle up to 26.000A which is awesome, comes with an on/off switch, and looks upscale.
The quality is great, as expected from Brennenstuhl.

I use it to plug amps, pedal power banks, audio interfaces…. Silent and reliable. Very robust. Pricey but worth every cent.

I have two now

I wanted to get a power strip that has surge protection and as far as I understand it, this one does. I am not really well-versed on the electrical engineering side of things, so I just "believe the packaging" that it'll help protect computers and synths "just in case" something bad comes down the power line. Yes, I have two now, one for the computer table and one for the synth table. What can I say? They are well-built, ostensibly "Made in Germany" (unlike others from the same company), and do what I need them to do. I wish they had a version with sockets that rotate? And if I could figure out how the heck the mounting brackets are supposed to work I'd have given them all the stars.

..hard to tell about protection because nothing has ever happened. Every production equipment is connected to these. There's one in a camper van too because power conditions in different countries vary.
