It's amazing what you can do with this pedal, from boosting your amp to reach those sweet tones, to a standalone distortion pedal. I spent an entire day playing with this thing and wouldn't get tired of it!

Great to have a Marshall sound in a pedal so I can have it at low levels even with headphones when practising at night.

I also have the Combo drive in front of it and love them both.

Boss Power Stack is an awesome pedal, when you need a boost with a little bit of tube crunch. It reacts to picking very acurate, and makes the feeling your playing a tube amp.
But altough it's individual use, i found this pedal very noisy when i turned up the gain. It had a lot of feedback. I used it with tube amp and Les Paul. It produced a lot of feedback even if I used it as a boost, when i played with overdrive. As it reacted diferently on picking, it made my solos, like i used gate or something like...
But it produced very fat sound that i liked.
So due to its price, I think it is a good choise of tube emulating pedal.

Power sound ?

Easy to use , sound is ok.
Accurate response to picking nuances and volume changes.
I tested it with Les Paul and the Stratocaster and I think ST-2 is better to match the Stratocaster, of course, a matter of taste!!
Full assault of distortion, with a decidedly tube amp flavor.
Effects pedal for everyone rockers ??
