Ik heb een Beyerdynamic DT 550 koptlefoon met een fantastisch geluidsweergave sinds jaren kon ik dit niet meer gebruiken vanwege de kapotte oorpads. Heb lang gezocht op internet bij dealers/verkopers maar kon niets krijgen. Toen ondekte ik Thoman en deze had de pads! Dolgelukkig bestelde ik direct een paar en verving de oude. Nu geniet ik weer al 3 jaar lang vollop van mijn DT 550.

These are the correct pleather pads for your DT-770 (not just 770M)

First I mistakenly got another type number that look almost the same, but they have holes on the underside (those are meant for the DT-770 32-ohm only; that model has a completely different sound signature and should really be named something else IMO). These don't have those holes, and they sound the same as the stock velour pads that come with the DT-770 80-ohm and 250-ohm.

Compatible to the old version of the DT 880

I'm using these Ear Pads on the very old version of the Beyerdynamic DT 880 i got from my father.
Befor mounting the ear pads i warmed them a little bit with an hairdryer. You have to be very carefull with the flexible plastic you slip over the headphones. But if you do, it is even possible to change them am view times.

I was shocked how much the Ear pads influencing the sound of the Headphones:

You can not use the velour version for the old DT 880! I don't know why but there is no bass if you do. But with this version the sound ist as good as usual.

I've had the original imitation leather ones for 14 years and they still haven't ripped. I decided to replace them because the foam inside doesn't hold its shape anymore. I just put these new ones on and the seams are already ripped. The quality is terrible.
