The 201 is an all around dynamic mics cut for the stage. Especially good to get a warm and cutting through snare sound, without much bleeding from other sources.
Maybe thinking ok but for 1 Breyer I could get 2 SM57, true but you aren't hair playing on the same level then. And with a higher price comes this time an extra quality in sound: sharper with a nice mid low!

Goede mic
Een van mijn favo mics op snare. Heeft relatief weinig output (dynamisch) maar pikt weinig omgevingsgeluid op. Mooi hoesje erbij.

Goeie allround
Goeie warm klinkende mic, op veel instrumenten inzetbaar: is al jaren mijn “go to” voor snare top (combi met ae3000 of 441 op snare bottom)

love this mic
I use the 201 a lot in live applications, sounds great for acoustic instruments like clarinet, violin, cello.
Works well on voices too, but you need the plopscreen for that (included)
