Prima mixertje met directe toegang
Mijn XR-18 is uitgebreider, maar soms heb je dat gewoon niet nodig en is het handiger om direct toegang te hebben tot mutes, faders, enz. Precies voor die gelegenheden is de FLOW 8 ideaal.
De app heeft features die vooral ook voor de XR-18 (X-air mixer serie) handig zou kunnen zijn. Bijvoorbeeld automatisch gain, podium-indeling.
Als je weet hoe digitale en analoge mengpanelen werken, is het soms een beetje 'andersom' denken met de Flow. Maar eigenlijk is de manier waarop de FLOW werkt net wat slimmer.

Professionele kwaliteit in compacte behuizing
Heb me verbaasd over de robuuste bouw. Zeer veel mogelijkheden en ongelooflijk goede FX-en. (o.a. Reverbs) Het is even wennen dat faders meerdere functies hebben. Ze zijn niet motorized maar het 'offset' ledje helpt op briljante wijze

The best service for the best products.
I am using the Flow8 for two years as a amateur guitarplayer and singer.There was a failure with the power connecter. I called for help and Thomann send me a return ticket to send it back to Thomann..
In less than two weeks time I got it back. Perfect repair and it's working perfect.
Thanks again to the hole service team. Thomann is a great company.

Almost good
Just briefly my opinion about the Behringer flow 8.
It's a handy little well-built little mixer with very big potential.
I mainly want to use it when recording podcasts.
Some comments though.
The Flow 8 looks like a 4 microphones 2 stereo line inputs + Bluetooth audio.
Unfortunately, as far as I'm concerned it's more like 2 microphones, 2 mono line & 2 stereo line inputs + Bluetooth audio.
I have the impression that microphones 3 & 4 have the same pre-amp design as the 2 stereo line inputs 5-6 & 7-8.
The result of this is that microphones 3&4 have noticeably more noise than microphones 1&2.
Too bad... it's a real shame to have saved on this, I would have happily paid €25 to have a better preamp on 3&4 as well.
Perhaps some things that could be adjusted in the software?
- BT-out to USB could also be useful (can only go to main & phones now)
- Making MON1 and MON2 available as USB out can also be useful (e.g. to record a SKYPE conversation)
- When USB is connected to inputs 5-6 or 7-8, these can also be kept available as USB out (now only applies to the analogue option)
All these comments can now be solved with some additional external devices (separate pre-anp or phantom power, USB interface, ...) but I think many will agree that this cannot be the intention ... unless one only makes a podcast with 2 microphones , 4 guitars and & Synth :-)

Super handig apparaat
Ik gebruik de Flow 8 om 3 synths mee te mixen, samples op mijn macbook, via Bluetooth, en 2 microfoons, 1 voor zang, en een voor articulatie aansturing van een Varios / VC-2 card. Alle settings opgeslagen in een app. Koptelefoon versterker heeft voldoende body. Echt een kleine "alles" kunner. Kan het beter....een digitale uitgang of Bluetooth uitgang was natuurlijk NOG mooier geweest; maar de Flow 8 is echt waar voor zijn geld!

Compact but powerful mixer with app
Bought the mixer for personal monitor mixing. Easily add a wide range of effects to the channel(s) you want. The app is user friendly and the quality of the mixer is good. Be aware of mounting the mixer with the screws on the bottom: I used too long screws en damaged the print board (one output dead). Thanks to the support of Thomann I could return it under warranty, but use only mounts from Behringer or use very short screws!! I really recommend this mixer and the service of Thomann

Kleine alles kunner
Degelijk gebouwd en veel mogelijkheden voor het kleine formaat. Ik gebruik hem thuis als interface voor de computer en live versterk ik kleine groepen (piano, zang, gitaar enzo) en koren. Fijn dat hij faders heeft en de app blijft het via BT ook doen als er 200 man in de zaal zitten (in tegenstelling tot de X(R)18). De app heb je wel nodig om EQ, compressie, routing etc te kunnen instellen, maar tijdens de gig heb je aan de faders genoeg. Fijn zijn de 2 monitorgroepen. Ook fijn is dat je tegelijkertijd de gig kunt multitracken en via de return met de koptelefoon kunt monitoren. 1 echt nadeel: waarom heb mic input 3 en 4 geen phantom? Dat zou de functionaliteit zo veel groter maken. Maar toch, voor het geld een heerlijk ding.

Klein, maar SUPER krachtig!
Ik wilde kleiner, compacter, lichter, mobieler... maar eigenlijk niet inleveren op wat ik had.... een loeizware KODA mengtafel met ingebouwde versterker! Powered speakers, dus versterker verplaatst, en dan dit kleine krachtpatsertje voor de klankkleur, balans en volume.... en nu 1 jaar na dato, nog steeds superblij! Nu komt er een MIDI controler masterkeyboard aan en dat betekent nu geluid via USB rechtstreeks vanuit mijn DAW.... en ook dat....werkt vlekkeloos! GEWELDIG! echt een aanrader!
