Great sounding EQ

I have this one over a week now and I like it a lot, only used the eq section so far but really love what it does to the sound. You really can get very nice results with this one. Used it on the mixbus after the 369 and it's a really nice combination to have the two together. Will be testing it on some individual tracks this week and in coming august I will use it for recording drum overheads and for recording vocals and electric guitar cabs. I don't have a 1073 to compare it with so I can't say anything about that. There will probably coming some reviews on Youtube soon but for myself it's a good affordable option for both mixing and tracking. I would buy it again and can definitely recommend it if your looking for an affordable stereo unit like this. The pots are decent but the gain pot could be a little bit tighter but at least they're a lot better than on the 369.
I will be updating my review in a month or so when I got to use it on more material and done different recordings with it but so far so good, I think that Behringer did a great job with building this unit, a very useful tool in my arsenal.

Neve van Behringer

Ik zou nooit een Neve preamp kunnen en willen kopen,3000 Euro vind ik grote onzin in mijn home studio.Daarom een namaak Neve van Behringer,deze uitgave gaat net.Het maakt mij niet uit of het ding wel of niet precies het zelfde klinkt als de Neve,niet belangrijk,hij werkt wel net zo makkelijk. als een echte Neve.De stapsgewijze bediening vind ik geweldig en het geluid vind ik prachtig.Heel simpel te bedienen.De manual is wat Behringer er gewoonlijk bij propt,vergrootglas nodig.Gelukkig is er op You Tube info, wat ook de rede is dat ik deze aankoop gedaan heb. Ik denk dat er een hoop spul in zit,hij weegt behoorlijk zwaar,ben er zeer over te spreken,prachtig ding.

I have no clue what the real deal 1073’s sound like. All I know is everything I put through this (kick, snare, heavy guitars, and bass, so far…) sounds better than if it’s just straight into my interface. For the money, it has given me what I hear to be a better sound. No added noise. No distortion. Decent quality given the previous reputation of Behringer. I plan to upgrade the output xformers and maybe the caps. It may all be SMD components which makes swapping caps difficult, if not impossible.

1273 dual preamplifier

So, I thought about getting 500 series gear for my studio but in the end went for the Behringer 1273 and Comp 369 - over all I would say that both deliver although we have only had for a week or so - Di’s - acoustic and Bass sound really warm and have more depth - both manuals are a little basic so I would like a lot more from those - the other thing is should you buy clones ? I don’t have Neve money it’s as simple as that so I had to make a call on where my money went - but for my first impressions I am really happy - I dropped nearly £1000 to get the 1273 and 369 comp - but happy I did
