Clarity and Quality straight out the box
Bought this on a recommendation from a studio already using the OC18 and OC16 and because I record back home in a small bedroom with headphones I thought the O16 would be perfect and believe me it is exceptionally good and must have for any singer songwriter.

Great n Warm Sound
Overall, the Austrian Audio OC16 delivers excellent sound, especially when it comes to warm tones. The build quality feels solid and premium, thanks to its all-metal body. It also performs beautifully when recording guitars.
When it comes to vocals, I personally don't think it's the best choice for fast-paced rap vocals. In my experience, it works better for softer vocals and more melodic styles of music.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with this microphone and its performance.
