The frequency response is flat from 20Hz to 20kHz, with tightly controlled crosstalk and gain for consistent results. Connectivity is straightforward as well: Balanced XLR inputs accept line-level signals (+4dBu), while gold-plated five-way binding posts provide secure loudspeaker connections. A universal 115–230V power supply, rear-panel power switch, and front-mounted LED indicator round out the package. Eenvoud, elegantie en eerlijkheid

De aanschaf van de Auratone A2-30 in combinatie met de Auratone 5C Super Sound Cube Classic's is voor mij de perfecte aanvulling op de monitors in mijn mix/master studio.
Om een idee te krijgen van het geluid op 'eenvoudige' audio-installaties, draagbare (bluetooth)speakers, mobiele telefoons etc., is de Auratone A2-30 in combinatie met de Auratone 5C Super Sound Cube Classic's onmisbaar. Ook op dit mooie systeem is (als het goed is) alles zeer duidelijk hoorbaar, wat belangrijk is bij het maken van een goede mix. Door regelmatig te switchen tussen de full-range monitors en deze set krijg je een goed idee hoe de mix gaat klinken op diverse systemen.
Ik wil niet meer zonder deze versterker in combinatie met de mooie, kleine speakers.

Perfect !! also for Yamaha NS-10

Obviously perfect power amplifier for euratone monitor speakers, but also for my YAMAHA NS-10 monitors !!
Auratone is not made in China but in Europe at Bettermaker, so that says enough.
The AURATONE A2-30 is also very quiet in a studio environment, there is no hum or noise to be detected and with 2 x 30 watts this is more than enough to assume the workflow

I bought this alongside the new 5C mix cubes, and I'm pretty happy with the result - it does what it says on the tin. I tried the 5C's with a Pioneer A-400 and they didn't seem anywhere near as punchy or precise in the transients. This did feel a little pricey for such a small amp and considering the nature of the 5C's, but I took a leap of faith and don't regret it. Seems like a happy medium to go with the manufacturers recommendation rather than spending a fortune on something that might not make a lot of sense for this kind of monitor, or getting something cheap that isn't as 'true' sounding. Sits nicely in the rack, but then the power switch is impossible to get to, which is a bit annoying if you want to turn off when in use.
